Hello,
There is no release date yet, but AIX 7.1 TL3 SP3 is needed to exploit
all Power 8 features.
The Power 8 announcement was 2014-04-28. The first machines will ship in
early June.
So I expect a release of SP3 in the next 4 to 6 weeks.

Bye
Rainer
