I'm running pgAdmin III 1.18.0 on a Macbook Air running OS X 10.7.5 but
it does not seem be installed correctly. When run it does not allow any
connections to a database that I have already created using the
command-line 'psql' and Postgres.app.

I've tried editing the pg_hba.conf file to no apparent effect.

Also un-installed and re-installed the postgresql-9.3.0-1-osx.dmg 3
times with same results.

I'm stuck.
