merlin(at)mmoncure-ubuntu:~$ ls -l /usr/lib/libjvm.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 57 2011-08-12 17:13 /usr/lib/libjvm.so ->
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/i386/server/libjvm.so

So, it is a symlink to openjdk
