Uses, likes, and very _depends_ on PostgreSQL.

the product is designed to utilize as much advantages of PostgreSQL as
possible.
I programmed entire (so called) "business logic" in plpgsql stored
functions (security definer). Revoke any insert/update privilege from
application user.
