I've never seen anything remotely like that. I don't see the string
'DBMGR' anywhere in the PostgreSQL source.
Before anyone can begin to help you, we would need a lot more
information. Please read this page and post again with more

When you do, the pgsql-performance isn't the right list -- try
pgsql-general.
