regression=# CREATE FUNCTION q( fmt text, variadic args "any" )
regression-# RETURNS void
regression-# LANGUAGE plpgsql
regression-# AS $function$
regression$# declare
regression$# begin
regression$# end;
regression$# $function$;
ERROR: PL/pgSQL functions cannot accept type "any"

ANY without quotes is a reserved word ...
