Using Postgres 8.2 on Linux based system.
Using PgAdmin III Beta 3 on Windows XP SP2.
I utilize the following process to login to the 8.2 database with
PgAdmin III Beta 3 from Windows XP.
Open PuTty.exe to create a secure connection to the database.
Open PgAdminIII to access the database.
Double-Click on the database name in the Object Browser window.
I get the following error: ERROR: syntax error at or near
"pg_get_userbyid"
LINE 1: ...T ts.oid, spcname, spclocation, " AS description
pg_get_use...
After I select OK on the pop-up box that displays the error, the
application open us fine and I can access everything as expected.
Hope this helps.
Derrick
