First, you have posted to the wrong list. The -patches list concerns
patch submissions, and that is clearly not the subject of your mail. You
need to ask for help either on the forums and trackers at the installer
project, which is presumably where you downloaded the installer from in
the first place, or on the list specifically set up for dealing with
win32 issues, to which I have directed this reply.

Second, you might have noticed that the word Beta is in the software
title. It's there for a reason. It means that we expect it to have bugs.
Don't whine, don't get angry, just ask for help nicely and it will
probably be forthcoming. And do bear in mind that many of the people who
have worked on it are volunteers.
