This is actually something we are working on. Command Prompt over the
last 6 months or so has been trying to reidentify Mammoth PostgreSQL as:

PostgreSQL + Replication

Because, except for the compression features the only difference between
Mammoth and PostgreSQL proper is the replication. The compression
features are being prepped to be push to patches for review for 8.1.

Therefore they are afraid of having

Well I think that part of that is that PostgreSQL doesn't say it has
replication, when it clearly does. A look at the features list:

Shows no such mention of replication. It should plain as day say:

Replication:

Available via Slony-I, and Replicator (or any others we see fit).

Considering that google brings that page up first if you type in
postgresql features...
