We are using Oracle and mySQL for web-applications
I'm planing to use postgresql also. Maybe we will also use Cach`e .

Does anyone using an other database-engines than postgresql also?
What are your decision criterias to choose which db-engine for a certain
project?
e.g. less/more than x records in database , less/more than x
select/DML-Staements per second
reliablity, backup, replication...
