I have installed all the files required ny Cygwin (plus a few others) but
when I run initdb I get the following error from postgres relating to euid.
Anyone know whats going on ?
I have no name!(at)PAUL ~
$ initdb
The program
'/usr/bin/postgres'
needed by initdb does not belong to PostgreSQL version 7.1.1, or
there may be a configuration problem.
This was the error message issued by that program:
/usr/bin/postgres: invalid current euid 500
I'm not sure how to solve this as I don't have much linux/unix knowledge
yet.
tia,
Regards ...Paul P.
