Can mytable%ROWTYPE be an argument to a function?

Just checking. I tried by got:

ERROR: parser: parse error at or near "%"

CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION testFunc(mytable%ROWTYPE)
RETURNS BOOLEAN AS'
RETURN TRUE:
END;
' LANGUAGE 'plpgsql' WITH (isstrict);
