pgsql problems.

Followup on last message.

ldd can't find the library even though ldconfig can. It is listed in
ld.so.conf properly and ldconfig was run.

Why can't ldd find a library when ldconfig can? It is listed in
ld.so.conf properly
and this has worked before. Any advise would be appreciated.
