I have a question concerning the optimizer:
If "geqo_effort" is set to a higher value does that mean that PostgreSQL
uses more time for generating the execution plan (which is useful for
complex queries)?
The docs are at that point not very clear (more details would be
interesting) and it would be useful to have more information about the
optimizer's runtime settings.
Does anybody have more detailed information?
