Ok first I'm using psqlodbc-07_01_0005 on a WindowsNT4 running IIS4 and
the
frontpage2000 server extensions to connect to a PSql Db ver. 7.0.2
running on a
Linux box (RedHat 7.01)
When using the frontPage wizards to generate a ASP page the ASP wizard
doesn't
return an error but is unable to read the table/query structure (ie it
seems to
believe the query contains no columns).
M$ seem to have documented the error as it relates to SQL server6.5 and
they
have a fix/workaround:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q229/2/85.ASP
Essentially they seem to have a patch (INSTCAT.SQL) that needs to be run
on the
server to enable the ODBC driver to return the correct info. its
documented
here:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q137/6/36.ASP
IS there any way of fixing/working around this in Postgres
Thanks
