Unlike MySQL there is no hidden type for your data, but you can use the
pg_user example,
see below :
%> psql template1
template1=> select * from pg_user;
postgres| 26|t |t |t |t |********|Sat
Jan 31 07:00:00 2037 CET
The password file is "hidden", but how ?
just type :
template1=> \d pg_user
View = pg_user
Query = SELECT "pg_shadow"."usename", "pg_shadow"."usesysid",
"pg_shadow"."usecreatedb", "pg_shadow"."usetrace",
"pg_shadow"."usesuper", "pg_shadow"."usecatupd", '********'::"text" AS
"passwd", "pg_shadow"."valuntil" FROM "pg_shadow";
+----------------------------------+----------------------------------+-------+
| Field | Type |
Length|
+----------------------------------+----------------------------------+-------+
| usename | name
| 32 |
| usesysid | int4
| 4 |
| usecreatedb | bool
| 1 |
| usetrace | bool
| 1 |
| usesuper | bool
| 1 |
| usecatupd | bool
| 1 |
| passwd | text
| var |
| valuntil | abstime
| 4 |
+----------------------------------+----------------------------------+-------+
Not very useful, but it can be done...
