As a Debian user I'm afraid I'd have to agree with Oliver on this - the
tools for installing / removing / purging Debian packages are there.
The documentation for them is there. If a person is using Debian and
has managed to install PostgreSQL then they know how to remove it or
purge it - it doesn't (in this case) belong in the PostgreSQL
documentation.
