It's time for us to start accumulating quotes for the 9.1 release, since often formal permission takes a while.
Here's what we're looking for in a quote:
The quote must say something about either:
(a) The PostgreSQL project's ability & tradition of innovation
(b) A 9.1 feature or features
Ideal quoted parties would be:
1) a big end-user of PostgreSQL, or
2) a recognized international technology leader
3) a recognize technology analyst
While we may end up taking quotes from IT vendors and PostgreSQL vendors, those are inferior to quotes from the above sources. Also, we'd prefer not to reuse companies who have been quoted in the last 3 years.
If the user doesn't want to post the quote to a public list (most don't), then please send it to josh(at)postgresql(dot)org(dot)
