Hi,
In building postgres 6.5 with gcc 2.8.1, two modules generated an
internal compiler error, signal 6 in cc1. Linux 2.2.10 in a PII Intel
platform.
They were float.c in backend/utils/adt and
backend/optimizer/util/pathnode.c
I got them to compile by removing optimization for those two files only.
If you'd like any more info I'm happy to provide it.
