Hi everybody!

I tried to install the new version of PostgreSQL an everything worked
really fine until I typed in the "postmaster -i" command for the first
time. The following error message occured:

IpcMemoryCreate: shmget failed (Invalid argument) key=5432001,
size=1073152, permission=600
FATAL 1: ShmemCreate: cannot create region

I am running a Redhat Linux 5.2 on a sparc machine.

Does anybody know a solution for this problem?
