*Thanks* for finding and fixing the problems with CASE. I was hoping
someone would track them down since I couldn't seem to get a handle on
it...

btw, I'm working on additions to the User's Guide to start documenting
COALESCE(), IFNULL(), and CASE(), now that they seem to work.
