So don't do that. RHEL6 kernels are pretty ancient at this point,
and are known to have performance issues with huge pages. If you can
replicate the problem on a modern kernel, somebody might be motivated
to look into it; but not on that platform. In any case it's very
unlikely that this is a Postgres problem rather than a kernel problem.
