Hello,

Version: v6.12 desktop; linux.

(I've tried to search for this but it's pretty hard to find the
keywords... apologies, if this already have been answered and all the
pointers are most welcome.)

1) Since a few versions it is impossible to enter [text] data without
clicking (and it is excessively slow and annoying now), since TAB will
not save and advance string fields anymore. I have to find the mouse,
click the button OK, then move back to the keyboard again and again.
I have tried a lot of keyboard combos to no avail.
How can I enter data with keyboard only? Text fields especially.
And I would appreciate the combo for advance-right as well as
advance-down... both is pretty common usage.

2) I see no way to set a data field in the editor to "default".
The problem is that copying anything with PK or SERIAL will fill it
with duplicate data and if I simply empty the fields it become NULL
instead of "none", and the update fails.

I also see no way to copy separate fields (default or else).

3) Why is it almost impossible to find it in the help? Data edit is in
the debugging section... is it so uncommon that people use pgadmin for
data editing...?

Thanks,
g
