The following documentation comment has been logged on the website:

Page: https://www.postgresql.org/docs/10/static/logical-replication-quick-setup.html
Description:

Hello!

In a logical replication setup, this guide needs to explicitly help the user
identify the postgresql instances that must have "wal_level = logical"
defined.

According to someone on IRC, it must only be set for the publisher (while
the subscribers are at default wal_level value – i.e. commented out in
postgresql.conf). I tested and it seems to work as expected.

So the documentation should suggest that it must only be set on instances
are act as "publishers", (along with instances that are both publishers and
subscribers).
