The bottom line is that even though I am interested in advocacy I am
starting to skip advocacy threads because the signal to noise ratio is
just too low, and I now hear other feel the same way.

See my other posting about suggestions to improve things. Obviously I
realize this is open source and lots of issues are going to come up, but
the question is whether there is room for improvement and whether more
leadership and self-policing will improve things.
