Federico,
Certification is strictly a commercial activity having little to do with
producing PostgreSQL. As such, we've deliberately left it to the various
PostgreSQL companies ... including PostgreSQL Inc, OTG, CertFirst, SRA and
EnterpriseDB, and Dextra Systemas ... to devise their own certification
programs.
In addition to not wanting to favor one vendor over another, validating a
certification exam is a very time-consuming process which would distract our
core contributors from their work improving PostgreSQL.
