If anyone knows a *good* source for this sort of thing, please send me a
URL, but a quick search on google finds:

"The market share for permanent connections continued to increase in
December and now accounts for 39.4 per cent of all connections. This
compares with a market share of 21.9 per cent a year before."

Which, to me, indicates that ~60.6% of all connections are still dial-up
(does ISDN count as a permanent connection?) ... but, I don't know where
they are getting their #s from, so, as I said, if someone else can point
me to better stats, please do ...
