HELP -- pgfsck, pg_resetxlog not working for me.

Hi,

I am trying to recover database. Earlier postmaster
was not starting saying invalid primary and secondary
checkpoints and a file in pg_xlog was not found.
So I used pg_resetxlog. This made postmaster start.
But I am not seeing most of the data and many tables.

I then tried using pgfsck on my data directory but no
luck. pgfsck would start saying 'Detected database
format 7.2' but won't go beyond that saying 'couldn't
find relation pg_attribute(<no-oid>).

Please help me in recovering my database. I have data
directory intact with pg_clog and pg_xlog files.
However there are no files in 16555 in /data/base
directory.

I have used pg_filedump to view data files. I can see
data but can't understand the usefulness of values in
headers.

Please HELP in recovering my database.
