Greetings,
since my previous intervention here ("build failure"), I'd like to report
that I'm now successfully using the 01APR04 snapshot with our main
application (which had been running the Cygwin port otherwise). Of course, I
still had to use cygrunsrv to run it as a service, but that really was
because I didn't want to dig back the information about srvany.exe.
Anyway, so far it seems to run not too bad, with one exception that I can't
store TIMESTAMP values equal to '1970-01-01 00:00:00'. I understand this is
an item on the TODO list, so I'm not too worried. As I don't need to handle
anything prior to 2003-01-01, I have some workaround headroom should I have
to proceed faster than I'd like to.
Anyway, many thanks to all the folks involved!
