Folks,
I need people who use/develop databases professionally to be interviewed for
ZDNet for to talk about either of two topics:
1) The TCO of open-source as opposed to proprietary licensed databases;
2) How the new MySQL licensing policy has pushed you or anyone you can quote
away from MySQL and towards other open source databases.
Please respond to me ASAP. The reporter is trying to get this story in the
can before the opening of the MySQL convention on Thursday. Please e-mail
me today even if you can't be interviewed until later.
People who are willing to talk personally but can't quote their employers
(e.g. no company name or title) are acceptable for this one because of the
rush.
