I've had residential DSL from Speakeasy for a few years, and haven't had
any complaints. I haven't had a need for customer service or tech
support, so I can't really say whether the reports are true or not.
I've heard lots of good things about sonic.net, too. They're also the
san-francisco.ca.us registrar, and I have had good experiences the few
times I've needed DNS changes.
