The following bug has been logged online:

Bug reference: 1038
Logged by: Stuart Green

Email address: stuart(at)greenfam(dot)com

PostgreSQL version: 7.4

Operating system: Redhat Linux

Description: Upon reload of data to install of v7.41 defaults for
fields get screwed up

Details:

I have a table with a field creationdatetime timestamp default 'now'

I just dumped that data from V7.3.4 and reloaded into V7.4.1 and the 'now'
part of the default got translated to the date and time that the data was
reloaded, instead of maintaining the now.
