I just bumped into http://backplane.com
Some very interesting concepts. I have not downloaded the program to
actually see how it works, but it seems the main concept of this database
is to have clustering out of the box.
When I see things like this I can only wonder why woudlnt' someone try and
work with existing databases instead of starting from scracth.
Do we see PostgreSQL in some distant future having more than basic
replication and actually having clusters to distribute the load?
