Hi all!
A few book keeping questions.
How do I unsubscribe from one of the postgresql
mailing lists without affecting the others?
On my recent upgrade to 7.2.1 from 7.1.3, all went
fairly well using the binary rpms, except that I
couldn't figure out how to get the old database out of
the way. I didn't need it, so I tried simply deleting
it, but even so on start up, 7.2.1 found it and
complained of wrong data format. I eventually removed
everything from var/lib/pgsql and reinstalled
it--which worked fine. Is there an easier way?
(I'm on RH linux 7.2).
Thanks!
ajw
