All links to download postgres are carefully hidden under http://www.postgresql.org/download/
Whether or not there is a link there to the particular platform and package format you want depends upon which one you're looking for. But a few minutes of looking should let you determine the answer to that yourself.
And I assume you already know this, but if you're going to be installing a new database, 8.1 is a poor choice when you could be choosing 8.4.
