Is this a patch for 6.3.1?

No.

--------------------------
Patching file configure.in using Plan A...
Hunk #1 failed at 639.
Hunk #2 failed at 664.
2 out of 2 hunks failed--saving rejects to configure.in.rej

configure.in has only 628 lines.

This was a patch to be applied to 6.3.1 AFTER applying my earlier
patch to configure.in.

Cheers,
Brook
