Hmm, maybe. It sure *looks* like we need to do
- return conn->asyncStatus == PGASYNC_BUSY || conn->write_failed;
+ return conn->asyncStatus == PGASYNC_BUSY && !conn->write_failed;
If anyone who can reproduce that Windows problem wants to try that ...
