The following bug has been logged on the website:
Bug reference: 18623
Logged by: sw packaging
Email address: swpackaging(at)itsv(dot)at
PostgreSQL version: 14.13
Operating system: Windows 10/Windows 11
Description:
When trying to install postgresql v14.13.1 with an install-script, the
installation halts with error-message: "System's temp folder is not
writeable by the current user."
The error appears when installing under the system context "NT
AUTHORITY/SYSTEM" installing with SCCM.
The installation is only successful when installing through an Admin-CMD
Window - when executing through psexec (psexec -is cmd) either the error
"System's temp folder is not writeable by the current user" or "A data
directory is registered in ***unknown variable postgresqlini*** but is
neither empty, or a recognisable data directory." appears.
This error only appears with "postgresql-14.13-1-windows-x64.exe" - using a
previous version of version 14 or a higher version, such as version 16.XX,
the installation works.
The problem appears to be the same as already documented in another
bug-report:
