The PostgreSQL Core Team are pleased to announce the addition of
two new members to Core: Andres Freund and Jonathan Katz.
Andres has been a contributor to PostgreSQL for over 10 years and a
committer for 6. Areas he has concentrated on include replication,
performance & scalability, storage and patch review.
Jonathan has been active in the PostgreSQL community for over a decade
and contributes to various parts of the project, including advocacy,
the release process, website development and maintenance, and other
administrative functions. He currently serves as a Director on the
boards of the United States PostgreSQL Association and the PostgreSQL
Community Association of Canada, and was a member of the inaugural
PostgreSQL Code of Conduct Committee.
