O.k. maybe I should break this down a bit more :D
PgUS would like to sponsor a PgDay for the PDX Area. Obviously as this
is PDXPug it makes sense for PDXPug to run it.
PgUS will provide:
A Single Breakout room that will seat anywhere from 30-70 (depending on
how we want to set it up).
Registration facilities (PgUS website)
Speaker submission facilities (PgUS website)
Donation facilities (PgUS website)
Projector
Microphone.
The event would be free, but we would ask for donations.
What PDXPUG needs to do is:
* Determine if PDXPUG wants to do this.
* Determine who is going to be point for the PgDay. (Organizer)
* When to do it. January/Feb is best.
* 5-7 speakers
Sincerely,
Joshua D.D rake
