The fix for AIX below 4.3 would be to relink both postmaster and the libs
with altered paths in the imp and exp files, which is imho impractical.
For AIX 4.3 there might be a fix with new options in the first line of the imp
and exp files that ld understands. If time permits I will take a go at that.
