I think right now we should focus on
- when is the conference
- who will be organising it
- what we think should happen at this conference

I'm much less bothered about *where*, unless that influences things.

It's clear that wherever we hold it in Europe most other countries won't
attend in the same numbers as will the country where we hold it.

That does make me think: why have a European conference? Why not just
have lots of local ones?
