I presume it is OK to ask these questions here?
I can rename a table:
ALTER TABLE oldname RENAME TO newname ;
but what do you do about oldname_pkey and oldname_id_seq? (I can
recreate the other indexes OK).
I can't see how to change those . .
It would have been easier if I could have just altered the width of a
column . . which is how I got into this situation, copying data between
tables etc . .
