Dear Sir,
In the past, Unify has been used as the database of choice in my company. Over the last five years the cost of this database has increased significantly and this trend is unlikely to change. Feedback from our customers has been that the purchase price and ongoing support fees for Unify are unacceptable. On this basis we undertook to select a new database, PostgreSQL, which offered comparable functional performance to Unify without the very high cost impost.
We have done some development, but it is very slow. I still beilave that we shoud not give up of this solution and would like to find a consultant/ contractor to 'speed up' the PostgreSQL performance.
Do you know of any developer in Melbourne or Australia?
Best regards,
Aida
