[Pgsql-ayuda] Funciones que me retorne datos a Visual Basic con ADO.-

Hola muchachos, este es el primer mensaje que envío a la lista. Mi problema
es el siguiente, migré una base de datos SQL Server a Postgres y tengo una
interfaz construida en visual basic, mi problema radica en que no se como
hacer que una función creada en postgres me retorne datos para llenar un
recordset (ADO) desde visual basic. Si alguien puede enviarme un ejemplo
concreto tanto de la llamada a la función como un ejemplo de la función
creada en postgres se lo agradecería montones, de antemano muchas gracias.

yo creo que el problema es DAO y no VB ya que yo hago lo mismo que tu
mediante ADO y no tengo ningun problema...

Modificando el parametro shared_buffers en postgresql.conf y reiniciando el
motor de la base de datos.

La documentacion de PostgreSQL tiene mucha informacion sobre esto, incluso
informacion para arreglar configuraciones mal hechas.

hola, alguien tiene experiencia en la implementación de cubos usando
postgres?? Tengo que hacer un desarrollo de este tipo y realmente me
servirían mucho recomendaciones y ligas a documentación (también si
saben cómo graficar estos chismes usando perl sería de mucha ayuda).

Dear Advocacy members (and Marc ;-)):

We, at the Spanish PostgreSQL mailling list hosted at
pgsql-ayuda(at)tlali(dot)iztacala(dot)unam(dot)mx are having some problems due to lack
of administration in the list, and at the moment are debating about what
(or where) to do with the list.

One of the solutions that came upon was to migrate (pass) the mailling
list to postgresql.org (pgsql-ayuda(at)postgresql(dot)org) and so I would like
to know which is the policy about this, and if there is a chance of
hosting the list at pgsql-ayuda(at)postgresql(dot)org (maybe it should be
called pgsql-es-ayuda or just pgsql-es, to follow the convention?)

Please note that we would take care of whatever administrative tasks are
required.

Alguien dijo hace un par de dias que habia una URL para llegar al mbox
con los archivos de la lista. Cual era? No tengo el mail, y no puedo
revisar los archivos via la pagina porque el link es incorrecto :-(

circa 1966.

Ayer estuve por el IM hablando con Bruce Momjian sobre esto y el cree que
Marc
"Scrappy" Fournier no va a tener problemas. Mas aun, Marc ha ofrecido muchas
veces hacer hosting de proyectos libres relacionados con PG. Asi que a mi
modo de verlo, hay buenas posibilidades de poder tener
pgsql-ayuda(at)postgresql(dot)org

Hoy voy a tratar de molestarlo de nuevo a Marc (lo mas probable es que se le
esten pasando los mails).
