Hi there,
Someone suggested to me that if BSDI loads a kernel with certain memory
configuration errors it will not panic but simply revert to its defaults.
Could this be why all of my kernel tinkering is in vain. I am missing some
config and so everything else is being ignored. Is this even plausible.
