Respected sir,
I am a student of Master Computer Applications. I am developing an Information Management System for a charitable Cardiac Hospital. I am using Pgaccess as front end. The backend is PostgreSQL-6.5.2 and OS is Red Hat Linux 6.1, on Intel P-II 350 MHz connected with LAN. I have installed them using RPM of Linux. I have learned some of the Tcl and Tk for programming.
Functions :
I want to use pgtcl and plpgsql as language for function. But they are not loaded in PostgreSQL using CREATE LANGUAGE. I read in the documentation as they are loaded while installing PostgreSQL. I do not know how to load them as I do not know about handlers to be specified to load language. This makes it extremely difficult to program a simple thing without Tcl and PL/SQL support. Can you help me out of it?
I am very much interested in Pgaccess and PostgreSQL. My colleagues and guide are also very much interested and thrilled in the use of such open source project product. I think I will contribute something to this project once my immediate project is completed.
Please answer my queries urgently as I have very short time to complete the project. The design phase has been just completed. I am waiting for solution to these problems so I can start coding.
Expecting a very prompt answer,
Sincerely yours,
Jigishu Bhatt
