I just downloaded the latest version of the ODBC Driver and used the
self-extracting archive to ensure that everything was installed correctly. I
noticed in the FAQ that this was to be done:
How do I setup a datasource?
For Windows, use the ODBC Administrator in Control Panel. Here you can
add, modify, or delete data sources.
I can't seem to find the "ODBC Administrator" in the Control Panel
folder.
I do have the "32bit ODBC" applet in there and the driver shows up but I
don't know if this is what I'm supposed to be using. Keeping all this in
mind I do have Windows 98. Is this a problem? I'm also using PostgreSQL 6.32
over the Internet.
I'm trying to configure a Postgres datasource in VB6. If there is anyone
out that there that has had success with this please send me an email.
