Hello,

I have a question regarding Postgres 8.2.

I am trying to set the datestyle in the postrgresql.conf permanently to European. But this does seem to work. This is what I did, I hope you can help me.

 

This is in the postgresql.conf.

 

datestyle = 'SQL,DMY'

 

but when I restart the server and use:

 

show datestyle;

 

I get ISO,DMY as result.

 

can you help me please.
