We save some data in VISCII (Vietnamese TCVN).

Selecting the data with psql will return correct values, but when I try to access the data with libpgtcl.so, depending on the Server-encoding, some of the characters are changed.

I tried to build the database without multibyte, but this feature seams no more to be available.

I tried also to set client_encoding to TCVN, so the missed characters are O.K., but some others are exchanged.

How I can stop the interface thinking about my data, I just want back, what I putted in ;-))
